Artist statement:
My artistic search is focused on the field of contemporary plastic arts. I am experimenting with the use of unconventional materials and different techniques for creating my sculptures.
I am interested in the border territories of arts, as well the meeting point and the confrontation of the design, the plastic object and the surrounding space. Often my approach is site-specific and is entirely provoked by a particular space. I look on purpose for a synthesis between art pieces created by me and the environment in which they are accommodated. Sometimes they pass through, penetrate, spill out or just follow the curves of the surrounding architecture, thus making it part of the overall artwork.
My works encompass elements from the hyperrealism, pop art, surrealism, and have common features with the object-oriented ontology.
